Decade wants you to participate in Earth Hour |
Earth Hour is quite a controversial movement: Some thinks it's pointless; some thinks every bits count.
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for the planet organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held worldwide annually encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the last Saturday in March, as a symbol for their commitment to the planet.

Regardless of the opinions and sides, IMO, if everyone can contribute their parts, even if it's small, even if it's "irrelevant" like merely spreading the awareness, it had achieved something. People who took part had reduced the energy consumption, some might even turn this awareness into habits and save more energy in the future. This, for sure, helped to make our Mother Nature a better sustained place to stay :)
